Updated 2:45am - Rain and drizzle will continue to affect the island at times this morning, gradually clearing away towards midday though to leave a dry but cloudy afternoon. A windy day with a strong to gale force southerly wind giving gusts of 40-50 mph for most places, with highs of 14°C. This evening & tonight will be dry with some clear spells developing later. The southerly wind will start to slowly ease, although still remaining strong overnight, with lowest temperature near to 10°C.

Thursday

Dry and bright with some sunshine, but skies will turn cloudy later in the day bringing a threat of some light rain and drizzle for a time overnight. Temperatures reaching up to 14 or possibly 15°C at best in the fresh to strong southerly wind.

Friday

Mainly dry with the cloud breaking to allow some bright or perhaps sunny spells to develop. A maximum temperature of 14°C, with a mainly moderate south to southeast wind, which will turn to the east or southeast and freshen overnight.

Saturday

Rather cloudy at first but dry, with sunny intervals developing as the day goes on. Quite windy with a fresh to strong east to southeast wind and highs of 12°C.

Sunday

Fine and dry with lengthy sunny spells. Windy with a strong east to southeast wind and top temperature of 11°C.
